Punjabi Bhindi Masala


I made this dish quiet often at home. Whenever I feel lazy and yet needs to cook,  I usually go for making some easy recipes. I make this often for Chapati... I have a personal affection towards this recipe because this recipe was taught by my hubby's grandma.. She stays at Puneand when we visited her once she made this and it was my favorite since date.. So here I share with you the recipe..

Ingredients

Ladies finger- 10 nos
Onion- 1 medium
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Corriander powder- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Salt- as per taste
Water- 1/4 cup
Chat masala- 1 tsp

Here we go.....

1. Wash ladies finger- in running water and cut into 1 inch pieces.



2. Now add in salt

3. Add in chilli powder

4. Add in turmeric powder and corriander powder


5. Add in garam masala

6. Mix well and let it rest for 1 hour

7. Heat oil in a kadai and add in onions. Saute well..

8. Add in marinated Bhindi to it and toss for a minute

9. Add in splash of water and let it cook...

10. Roast till it gets cooked and all water gets evaporated...

11. Roast.......

12. Once it get roasted, Add in chat masala powder ..


12. Serve......

Tips

Add a little coconut oil at the final stage.. Doing so gives it a good taste....
