Street Style Egg Biriyani


This is a variety biryani recipe. If you love spicy food, this is a must try!!! Street foods are always good in taste with a good amount of spice in it.. This is an effortless biriyani. You only need handful of ingredients to make this.. It is always nice to try out variety food at our own kitchen. Although it is a spicy recipe, since we are trying it out by ourselves, we can reduce the spice upto our taste... So I share the recipe hoping you will try this out.......

Ingredients

Eggs- 2 boiled and peeled
Onion- 1 medium
Tomato- 1 medium
Coriander leaves- a spring
Mint leaves- a spring
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric power- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Yogurt
Salt- as per taste
Sugar-  a pinch
Water- 1/4 cup
Oil- 2 tbspn
Basmati rice- 2 cups....

Here we begin....

1. I have cooked some rice and kept aside.....

2. Heat oil in a kadai and fry boiled eggs....

3. Roast it out....

4. Roast it again..

5. Roast and keep aside.

6. In the same pan, saute onions..

7. Add in tomato and cook till it turn mushy

8. Add in salt and sugar to it

9. Add roasted eggs...

10. Now add in all the spice powders

11. Add yogurt to this

12. Add chopped coriander and mint leaves to this

13. Add in a splash of water and cook till gravy thickens

14. Cooking is all over and now its all about plating.. Spread the gravy on to serving dish..

15. Spread rice evenly on top of this.....

16. Mix it up well right before serving..

17. Serve......

      You can add a tomato extra in this recipe instead of yoghurt..
