Chicken curry-Simplest version


This is my first chicken recipe... It is a very simpler version of making a chicken curry. You will need only a handful of ingredients in making this out.. I love this method because it only takes some time to make and no compromise in taste. I have posted many other chicken recipes in my blog, but this one is my personal favourite. I will say you must try this one out..... So here I share my recipe with you guyz!!!!!!

Ingredients

For marination:-
Chicken- 500 g
Chilli powder- 2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Corriander powder- 1 tsp
Chicken masala- 1 tbspn
Salt- as per taste
Vinegar- 2 tsp
Water- 1 tbspn

For masala:-
Onion- 1 chopped
Potatoes- 1 chopped
Tomato- 1 chopped
Coconut pieces- 1/4 cup
Corriander leaves- 1 spring
Water- 1 cup
Oil- 2 tbspn

Here goes the recipe......

1. Take all spice powders listed under marination to a blender and make a smooth paste out of it..
2. Take chicken pieces and marinate with the grinded ground masala and keep aside for 30 minutes
3. Move it to a pressure cooker and cook till meat turns tender
4. Heat oil in a kadai and saute onions
5. Once it turns soft, add in tomato and saute for a minute
6. Add in the cooked chicken pieces and give a good mix
7. Now add half of the coconut pieces and mix well
8. Before serving add in corriander leaves and remaining coconut pieces..
9. Enjoy hot with rice or roti..

Now we move towards step wise illustrations....

1. Take all the spice powders and move to a blender

2. Add in vinegar and water and grind to a smooth paste..(forgot to take pics) Take chicken pieces in a bowl

3. Add in chopped potatoes

4. Add in ground masala

5. Marinate it well and keep aside

6. Move to a pressure cooker and add in water. Cook for 2 whistles

7. Heat oil in a kadai and saute onions

8. Add in tomato

9. Add in cooked chicken pieces and mix up well

10. Add in half of coconut pieces and mix well

11. Move to a serving dish.. Garnish it
