Street Style Vegetable Biriyani




Hi all..... Sharing with you a biriyani recipe. I have shared many versions of biriyani recipes in my blog earlier.. This one stands different.. Is is a street style biriyani with a good amount of spices in it which gives it a unique flavour. If you love spicy food, go for it dears..... So here is the recipe..

Ingredients 

Basmati rice- 2 cups
Onion- 1 medium chopped onions
Beans- 1 cup chopped 
Carrot- 1 cup chopped 
Peas- 1/2 cup soaked 
Potato- 1 medium chopped 
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Biriyani masala- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp 
Water- 3  1/2 cups
Ghee- 1 tbspn 
Corriander leaves- 1 spring chopped 
Pudina leaves- 1 spring chopped
Jeera seeds- 1 tsp 
Bay leaf- 1 no
Pepper- 3 nos
Ghee- 1 tbspn 

Here we go.....

1. Soak rice in water for about 30 minutes

2. Add ghee in a pan and add in spices and bay leaf..(forgot to take pics). Saute onions as well..

3. Add in all chopped veggies to this..

4. Add in corriander leaves

5. Add in pudina/ mint leaves 

6. Add in garam masala 

7. Add in biriyani masala

8. Add red chilli powder

9. Add in soaked rice 

10. Mix it well 

11. Add in water 

12. Cover and cook without whistle for 10 minutes..

13. Enjoy your yummy biriyani
