Stuffed poori


Hi guys! I am going to share with you a lovely recipe.. It is my personal favourite- Stuffed Poori.. I made this once when I had some left overs of the stuffing I made for aaloo tikki.. I served it for breakfast and it was too good.. If you would love to have variety food, go for it! You will be making pooris at home often, so next time you plan to make it try this one... Hope you will love it....

Ingredients 


For poori

Wheat flour- 1 cup
Water- 1/4 cup
Oil- 1 tbspn
Salt- a pinch 

For stuffing

Potatoes- 2 medium
Onion- 1 medium
Jeera seeds- 1 tsp
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Chat masala- 1 tsp
Oil- 2 tsp+ for frying
Water- 2 tbspn
Salt- as per taste

Here we go......


1. Heat a pan and add jeera seeds. Let it crackle..


2. Add in onions and saute for some minutes 


3. Add in salt 


4. Add in red chilli powder 


5. Add in turmeric powder 


6. Add in garam masala 


7. Add in mashed potatoes 


8. Mix it well..


9. Add in chat masala 

10. Add a splash of water and let it mix up. Wait till all water gets evaporated. Stuffing is ready



11. Now let's make the dough. Add wheat flour in a bowl 


12. Add in salt 


13. Add in water and oil. Knead to a soft dough 



14. Now let's make the poori.. Make a ball out of the dough and roll it out..


15. Make two pooris like this


16. Take a poori and fill some stuffing in


17. Place another poori on top of it and seal the edges 


18. Make all pooris like this and keep aside 

19. Heat oil in a kadai...

20. Drop pooris onto the hot oil

21. Flip and cook..

22. Serve hot.....
