Idli Upma


This is my yet another time saver recipe. Actually I first saw this when my mother in law made it. Though I don't like idli, I love this recipe to the core. Since then, everytime mom make idlis at home, I will go for this and enjoy my batch of upma. Here goes the recipe...

Ingredients
Idli- 3 to4 nos
Dried red chilli- 2 nos
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
Urad dal- 1 tsp
Oil- 1 tbspn
Curry leaves- a handful

Here is the recipe
1. Cut left over idli into cubes and keep aside
2. Heat oil in a pan and splatter mustard seeds urad dal, dried redchilli and curry leaves
3. Add in turmeric powder and idli pieces. 
4. Toss well and serve hot.. Enjoy with your favourite chutney

Now towards step wise illustrations

Take some idli 

Cube them 

Heat oil in a pan 

Add in mustard and urad dal 

Add in dried red chilli 

Add in curry leaves once it splatter 

Add in turmeric powder 

Add in cubed idli pieces 

Toss well 

Enjoy  idli upma
