Onion Uthappam


This is a most versatile recipe which always worked out for me. I love the good flavour of onions and it is really very tasty. I usually add a teaspoon of ghee over the dosa which gives it a unique flavour and taste. Here goes the recipe

Ingredients
Dosa batter- 2 cups
Onions- 1 large chopped
Ginger- 2 tsp
Green Chillies- 1 chopped
Curry leaves- 5 nos chopped
Salt- a pinch
Ghee- for roasting dosa

Here we go
1. Prepare dosa pan by greasing it with oil
2. Mix up onions, chillies, ginger, curry leaves and salt. Set aside
3. Spread batter on to the pan.. 
4. Add the onion mix and press gently with a spatula. 
5. Sprinkle ghee. Flip and cook
6. Serve hot

Now towards step wise illustrations

Take some chopped onions in a bowl 
  
Prepare other ingredients 

Mix well 

Season with salt 

Mix well 

Sprinkle dosa batter on to the pan 

Spread the onion mix 

Press with a spatula 

Flip and cook 

Enjoy hot......
