Lemon Sevai



This is an easy recipe which you can rely for breakfast. If you have some left over idiyappam on hand this is a pretty easy recipe. I love this one more than idiyappam. Whenever​ I make idiyappam at home, I usually make one batch of this for myself. I am sure you will also love this. Here goes the recipe...

Ingredients
Idiyappam- 4 nos
Lemon juice- 1 tbspn
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Asafoetida/Hing- 1 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
Urad dal- 1 tsp
Red chilli- 3 nos
Curry leaves- 1 spring
Ghee- 2 tbspn

Method
1. Heat ghee in a pan and splatter mustard seeds, urad dal, red chilli and curry leaves
2. Add in turmeric and hing and mix well
3. Add in lemon juice and crushed idiyappam
4. Toss well and serve hot

Now towards step wise illustration 

Heat ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds 

Add in urad dal  

Add in red chilli 

Add in curry leaves  

Add in turmeric(forgot to take pics) and hing  

Add in lemon juice  

Add in crushed idiyappam/sev

Toss well 

Serve hot
