Simple Fish Fry
This is a simple recipe of fried fish. It needs only handful of ingredients and doesn't need any time for marination. Once marinated, you can directly fry the fizh as needed. It has mild spices and is a perfect fit for kid's lunch box.My recipe calls for a mild spicy flavour, you can increase spice content as per your taste. Here goes the recipe....

Ingredients
Fish- 250gms
Shallots/ Sambar Onion- 5 nos
Red chilli powder- 1 tbspn
Pepper powder- 1 tsp
Curry leaves- 2 spring
Ginger- 1 small piece
Garlic- 6 pods
Salt- as per taste
Masala:-
Onions- 1 sliced
Method
1. Clean fish and keep aside
2. Take shallots,curry leaves, ginger, garlic, red chilli powder, pepper powder and salt. Puree well with a dash of water.
3. Marinate well
4. Heat oil in a pan and fry fish pieces till golden
5. Put some sliced onions in the remaining masala and fry in the remaining oil.
6. Serve hot
Note:-
You can skip the masala part of you wish
Now towards step wise illustrations
Clean and cut fish pieces and keep aside. I used Pink Perch/Navara
Take shallots,ginger,garlic and curry leaves in a blender
Add in spice powders and salt
Puree it and put it over the fish
Marinate well
Put marinated fish pieces on hot oil. Flip and cook both sides. It will take around 5 minutes.
Flip and cook
Both sides done
The following is an optional step. this is the left over masala
Add in some sliced onions
Mix well
Add in garam masala
Add this to the left over oil
Fry it up
Serve hot with or without masala
