Chilli Chicken- Restaurant Style

It is one of the recipe I was reluctant to try first , but was a total hit once I tried. From then,whenever we buy chicken at home, this is one of the dish.. Yes! Now we can make restaurant style chilli chicken at home itself..... Do try it!!!!

Ingredients

Boneless chilli chicken- 500 g
Onion- 1 large
Capsicum- 1
Tomato- 1
Green chilli- 3 slit
Ginger-garlic- crushed
Chilli powder- 1 tbsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Salt- as per taste
Sugar- 1 tsp
Vinegar- 1 tbsp
Soya sauce- 2 tbsp
Chilli sauce- 1 tbsp
Tomato sauce- 2 tbsp
Corn flour- 2 tbsp
Water- 1/2 cup
Oil- 3 tbsp.

Here we begin

1. Marinate chicken with Soya sauce, vinegar. crushed ginger-garlic and salt and let it rest for about 10 minutes.



2. Add in corn flour to this and mix well.

3. Heat oil in a nonstick and shallow fry the chicken pieces and move to a paper towel( Usually chicken is deep fried in chilli chicken, but Shallow frying doesn't compromise in taste)

4. In the same pan, Add in onions and saute.

5. Add in capsicum and saute..

6. Add in tomato and saute..

7. Add in green chillies.

8. Now add in chilli powder and mix well...

9. Add in 1 tbsp of Soya sauce and mix well

10. Add in chilli sauce..

11. Add in  garam masala and final mix it..

12. Now add in fried chicken pieces keeping in a low flame and mix it well..

13. Add in water and add salt if necessary..



14. Once it starts to boil, add in tomato sauce and mix well..

15. Finally add in sugar to balance the taste..

16. Enjoy your spicy chilli chicken....

Notes

1. You can increase or decrease the spices as per your taste..

2. I have not added ajinomoto and red food color in this recipe. In restaurants, they add it for taste and colo You can add if you like...
