Jeera Rice
This is a flavoured rice.It has quite a good flavour of jeera and other spices. Also the flavour of ghee gives it a good aroma too....
Ingredients
Basmati Rice- 1 cup
Jeera seeds- 1 tbspn
Cloves- 2 nos
Pepper corns- 4 nos
Cardamom- 2 nos
Water- 2 cups
Salt- as needed
Corriander leaves- 1 cup
Here we go for the recipe...
1.Soak rice in water for about 30 minutes..
2.Add ghee in a vessel in which you intend to cook your rice..
3.Add in jeera,cardamom,pepper corns and cloves..
4. Add in drained rice and slightly fry it in a low flame..
6. In a small pan, add ghee and jeera and let it crackle
7. Now take your cooked rice..
8. Add in roasted jeera to it and mix with a fork.
9. Once it is mixed, Add in corriander leaves..
10. Mix well and serve hot. I served it with Chicken Ghee Roast..
