Gulab Jamun
Hii dears..This is my favourite recipe of a dessert- Gulab Jamun. I usually made it from Instant Gulab Jamun Mix.But each time I was unable to get perfect shaped jamuns.. When I put it in oil,it would crumble. So ever since I started blogging, one of my task was to make gulab jamunzz without Instant mixes. Everything went well from the beginning, but I was quite afraid of frying it. And the frying part went absolutely well. And I got perfect shaped jamuns... So here is my recipe of the day- Gulab Jamun

Ingredients
Milk powder- 1 cup
Maida- 3 1/2 cup
Rava/ sooji- 1 tbsp
Baking soda- a pinch
Warm Milk- 4 tbsp
Ghee- 1 tbsp
Lemon juice- 1 tsp
Oil- for deep frying
For sugar syrup
Sugar- 1 cup
Water- 1 cup
Saffron strands- a pinch(optional)
Cardamom- optional
Rose water- optional
Here we go....
1. Take milk powder in a bowl.
2. Add in maida to this
3. Add in rava and baking soda
4. Add in lemon juice
5. Add in ghee and crumble the mix
6. Add warm milk little by little and knead to a soft dough
6. Make small balls out of it..
7. Now let's make sugar solution. Take sugar in a bowl and add water.
8. Bring it to boil and make sure to keep it warm.
9. Heat oil in a kadai. Fry jamuns in moderately hot oil.
10. Fry till golden brown
11. Drain and move jamuns directly to the warm sugar solution
12. Serve cold or at room temperature
