Apple Dates Milkshake


It is really hot these days here and I make juices and milkshakes to cope up with this hot climate. Today I thought to prepare an Apple Milkshake. I found some dates too and planned to make a milkshake by combining apple and dates. It tastes just lovely with the goodness of apples and dates. And I would say it is a Healthy Milkshake... So here I share the recipe with you......

Ingredients
Apple- 1 no
Dates- 6 nos soaked in milk
Milk- 2 cups chilled
Sugar- 3 tbspn
Chocolate syrup- optional

Here we go......
1. Peel off the apple and chop it into small pieces. Soak dates in milk 
2. Move it to a blender and add in apples and dates
3. Add in sugar and chilled milk and blend it smoothly.
4. Decorate serving glass with chocolate syrup and add in the juice..
5. Serve chilled

Now towards step wise illustrations

Take an apple.. 

Peel and chop it off

Takes some dates in a bowl. Tear it off 
   
Soak it in some milk 

Move chopped apples in to a blender 

Add on soaked sates along with the milk 

Add in sugar. You can substitute with honey too 
  
Add in chilled milk 

Mix it up gently with a spoon 
  
Blend it off smoothly. It will take around 7 minutes for the dates to grind up. If you like chewing up dates you will need to just blend for a while 

I just prepared my serving glass with some chocolate syrup. You can skip this step as well

Pour in the mix. Serve chilled....
