Butter Chicken Roast

Anything which is cooked in butter is too lovely.. Whether it is butter murukku or butter masala. I usually make chicken butter masala, but yesterday I was planning to make chappathis so I thought of making butter masala in a dry version. It was all an attempt and it turned out just wow... It is pretty easy to make and all it needs a little patience because you have marinate with the masala and keep for 3-4 hours. However you can marinate it overnight as well.So without any delay, I am sharing with you my personal favourite recipe since yesterday.

Give it a try and do let me know your experience

Ingredients

Chicken- 250gms with bones
Onion- 1 medium sliced
Tomato- 1 small sliced
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
Chilli powder- 3 tbspn
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Corriander powder- 2 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Salt- as per taste
Sugar- 1 tsp
Butter- 4 tbspn
Corriander leaves- to garnish

Here we begin...
1. Marinate chicken pieces with ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, corriander powder, garam masala and salt. Let it marinate for some 3 hours.
2. Heat 2 tbspn of butter in a pan and add in marinated chicken pieces. Mix it up well and chicken pieces gets well coated with butter.
3. Add a tbspn of butter on top of chicken pieces. Close it with a lid and cook in low flame for 20 minutes
3. Now chicken will leach out more water and it will cook well. Increase the flame to high and just roast the pieces till it turn brown. Add in sugar and mix well...
4.  In another heat 1 tbspn of butter and saute onions and tomatoes well.
5. Now add the masala to the chicken and mix well. The chicken pieces and the masala gets well mixed..
5. Switch off the flame and garnish with corriander leaves. Serve hot.
