Double Layer Milkshake
Milkshakes turned out to be my personal favourite these days. A couple of days before, I bought Dragon fruit and it was lying to be consumed in my fridge because I wanted to try out something different rather than normal Dragon Fruit Milkshake which I have tried and posted in my blog.. It's mango season and I have some in hand. Yesterday, I plan to combine dragon fruit and mango and prepare a Double Layer Milkshake. It's pretty easy and healthy too. The combination is also lovely..... Try this out to cope up with the hot climate. Here goes the recipe......
Give it a try and do let me know your experience
Ingredients
Dragon fruit- 1 peeled and chopped
Mango-1 peeled and chopped
Milk- 2 cups chilled
Sugar- 1 tbspn
Milkmaid- 5 tbspn
Vanilla essence- 2 tsp
Cherries- few to garnish
Here we begin....
1. Peel dragon fruit and mango and keep aside.
2. Move dragon fruit in a blender and add 1 tbspn of sugar and 3 tbspn of milkmaid.
3. Add in a cup of milk and vanilla essence and puree smooth
4. Add mangoes in a blender. Mangoes I used was sweet, hence I haven't added sugar. You can add sugar as per your taste.
5. Add in remaining milk, milkmaid and vanilla essence and puree it
6. In a serving glass, pour dragon fruit mix half and other half with mango mix
